My last friday night in VA…until 2011

Yeah, don't worry guys I will most definitely be back in the U.S of A on January 21, 2011. I will probably not be updating my blog as often as I'd like to while in El Salvador, since people aren't very technologically advanced there! God, I don't know how I'm gonna survive without hardly any internet for 2 months and 10 freaking days! I told my sister that we probably should have made this trip shorter than we originally wanted it to be. I mean we came back excited, but now we just wanna make sure we have enough money to take to El Salvador. Maybe we should have waited lol…but oh well we'll survive. I'm actually not as excited as I had thought I was gonna be for this trip. I'm excited to go to this gorgeous resort in El Salvador though, so that's a plus. Well I might update you guys later with my crazy packing and stuff, but for now this is all I've got.

Decisions and college talk!

So last night I had a small chit-chat with my parents about school and where I would like to further my studies. Most of my close friends and family by now know that I would like to move to San Francisco, California. There is this great art school, Academy of Art University. It has the program I want, which is graphic design, and I have heard some very good things about it. I have also heard a lot of negative stuff about it, and most of it are about how expensive the school is and how they only want you for your money and yada yada...I don't know whether I should pay much attention to those sort of negative comments, but me being an optimist, I try not to let that put me down from my decision of wanting to go there. Because come on, college is expensive! and YOUR the only one who can make your college experience worthwhile by working hard and having fun at the same time. But anyways, the only thing holding me back from officially deciding to go here is because it's a BIG move...I mean it's a East coast/West coast deal here. I'm not just moving up state or down south. I'm moving across the country! I have heard that San Francisco is a great city though and MANY people have told me that I would love it there, and I don't doubt that, but moving on my own, a NEW city, NEW life, NEW school, NEW people, NEW neighborhood, NEW everything...it kind of scares me. Nonetheless I think it'll be a good experience and I can learn a lot from being on my own. Hopefully once I come back from El Salvador, I will update you guys on what I have officially decided. Fingers crossed and hope everything works out for me.
